About Daniel Gysel

Living and working in Tampa, Florida, Daniel Gysel has developed his dual passions for art and creative design into a successful career as the CEO and Creative Director of DANG Designs, his Web Development, Advertising, and Branding Agency he founded in 2006. Here, Dan has a chance to exercise the myriad of specialties he’s developed throughout his career, including Web Design, Print Design, Logos, PunchOut Catalogs, Business Development Consulting, Cloud Computing, Database Engineering, and E-Commerce, just to name a few. 

Previously in his career, Daniel Gysel has had a chance to develop his skills with a several different firms. For two and a half years, after founding DANG Designs, from 2013 to 2015 Dan served as the Marketing/IT Director for AAA Florida Senior Living Regional Center. Prior to his entrepreneurial journey, Dan worked for nearly four years with Resource Marketing in San Diego, California as their Art Director, where he was responsible for the production and management of advertising materials for clients within the motorcycle industry. Before taking the position with Resource Marketing, Dan worked for a year with Alta Printing – a high-volume Graphic Design shop – as a graphic artist. 

Daniel Gysel attended Ringling College of Art & Design where he graduated as a member of the Class of 2020 with his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration, Design, Website Design, and Photography. While pursuing his degree, Dan worked with Watson Publications where, for a year and a half, he developed his skills as the Assistant Advertising Art Director where he worked with the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, and Senior PGA Tour, producing souvenir magazines for all of the events hosted in the United States. 

Outside of his busy professional career, Daniel Gysel likes to relax and unwind through some of his favorite pastimes. He enjoys hitting the links for a round of golf, and he also likes going for rides on his motorcycle. Additionally, whenever he’s in the right location and has the chance, he also loves to surf. Dan Gysel also likes to volunteer whenever the opportunity is available. He’s been involved with the West Tampa Chamber of Commerce for nearly four years: for more than three and a half years he’s served on the Membership Committee, for more than two and a half years he’s been the Communication Committee Chair, and since November 2017 he’s been a Board Member.
